SMI’s mission is to assist our athletes in achieving their athletic potential and maximise their financial earnings. We also aim to develop and promote the sport of athletics.

History
Garrett Coughlan founded Sports Management Ireland in July 2005. He saw the need for emerging Irish athletes to maximise their potential by competing on an international stage against world class competition. Following on from a successful first year in operation where many of Ireland's top athletes joined them, SMI signed their first international athletes in July 2006 and are now expanding their athlete base from around the globe. The SMI office is located in central Dublin, Ireland.

Services
Sports Management Ireland provide our athletes with a full range of services. We work closely with our athletes and their coaching team to organise the athlete's racing schedule and training camps, arrange travel, transfers and accommodation, as well as organising and managing our athlete's sponsorship deals.
